coupling with project chrono

edited November 2020 in DualSPHysics v4.4

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to model a slider from the landslide to the road, but the slider will drop vertically into the slide. I don’t know how this happened. I have tried it several days ago with the version 5.0. It gave me this error:

*** ERROR: Some boundary particle was excluded. ***

TimeStep: 0.018769  (Nstep: 236)

Total boundary: 9  (fixed=0  moving=0  floating=9)

Excluded for: position=9  rhop=0  velocity=0

Some boundary particle exceeded the -Z limit (bottom limit) of the simulation domain.

*** Exception (JSphGpuSingle::AbortBoundOut) at ..\source\JSph.cpp:2363

Text: Fixed, moving or floating particles were excluded. Check VTK file Error_BoundaryOut.vtk with excluded particles.

Finished execution (code=1).

I sincerely thank you for your help.

Good luck to all of you.

  • 9 particles of a floating object have leave the domain....

    It seems that your object is not colliding with the bottom

    Please read carefully the guide "XML-GUIDE-MDBC.pdf" that you can find in DualSPHysics_v5.0\doc\guides

    and please compare your XML with the examples we provided about collisions like the ones in DualSPHysicsv5.0\examples\chrono\07DamBreakCubes
