relativeweight is the relative weight of the Floating compared to the water. For each floating object you have to define either relativeweight or massbody (see XML Guide).
I am pretty sure that somewhere here in the Forum I have also seen a good summary of the relationships between these values and what they mean, but I cannot find that anymore right now, sorry.
