Wave breaking attention's meaning
Hi DualSPHysics,
i've been simulating wave propagation using second order wave generation (wavepaddles function), the console gives me 3 warnings :
1.wave breaking for achieved steepness
2.wave breaking for depth limitation
3.Madsen criterion is not statisfied
i understand madsen criterion from the guide, but how about the first two? can someone give me explanation about those.
thank you

The above matters are related to the wave theories! The most reliable wave theory that can describe wave breaking is Fenton.
However, it is highly recommended to validate the SPH code with measured Experimental works, NOT by wave theories.

Comparison with wave theory is a first step very important.

Would you mind please share the Experimental work that you used for validation?
