fill fluid limited by boundary

hi,

i try to fill fluid limited by fixed boundary with fillbox like the pump case. i want to simulate a fluid over a terrain, the fluid expected to be above the terrain, instead i got it allover the defined box. how do i fix this?

    I have also had problems with "fillbox" (the whole area was filled). Could anyone maybe explain, how that should be defined and which boundaries are necessary? Thanks a lot!

    Thank you for your reply. I actually did see that before, but it still did not work, the water always was not there at all or all over the box. But the reason might have been, that my model is 2D and possibly the y value was not correct. Just in case anyone else is having the same problem (see FAQ 18).

    In case you are working in 2D you should use ranges of "y" that contains your y-position.
    For example if your case is ymin=ymax=0 then use point=-1 and size=2!
