simulating a channel
hi there,
i am working on modeling a channel with a weir, i am aware to use periodicity for that. i generated my geometry in DPI. i modified the XML file of CasePeriodicity_Def for a new geometry ((constantdef) and (parameter) sections of CasePeriodicity_Def had not any changes but i decreased the key="XPeriodicIncZ" as it is elevation of my inlet and is assumed to be 0.2 m )
the problem is, the particles ones go out of my domain from outlet, don't come back to domain through inlet and the cycle has been cut off!!!!
and the second problem is, when i run a simulation in 3D, the particles seems are fallen down to bottom of domain (although i have defined walls ), but the same XML file in 2D works good ( just particles seems abandon the domain)
