Computing Moment (Torque)

Hi
modeled the "CASEDAMBREAK".

The "ComputeForces4" code only generated the Forces applied to the obstacle, not the Moment (Torque).

How can I compute it?

Please help me.

Thank you in advance!

  • Torque is not computed with our post-processing tools so you have to use the info we can compute (force at a point x distance) or you have to create your own post-processing code to compute it

  • Hi Alex!

Could you please give us more hints about the method for finding the resultant Torque (force x position)? A sample casefile or an option key will be great.

I think that even in v4.0, the output of ComputeForces4_win64.exe is just forces and not moment.
