no import of .stl-file

hey guys,
in version 3.2 everything worked fine. after the update to v4.0 I copied everything between into a the new xml-file and GenCase won't import the .stl-file any more. the output is "FileShapes> Regenmodul_Dp.vtk <---- EMPTY FILE NOT SAVED". I could not find any changes for importing external geometries in the guide. I hope you can tell me what i am doing wrong.

    i found the reason a few seconds ago. the STL have to be saved in ascii instead of binary. is there a reason why you have changed that? it is easier for me but a little bit confusing.

    bour Binary format file is wrong because it begins with the word "solid" so it is loaded as ascii file.
