Excluded particles

edited January 2016 in Old versions
Hello,everyone

I am using the DualSPHysics to build a wave tank. I know the text file named Run.out in the output directory contains some information about the calculation.I have noticed that there are two pieces of information as following:
Excluded particles................: 68
Excluded particles due to RhopOut.: 43

so what’s the differences between the excluded particles and the excluded particles due to Rhopout?
I only understand that a fluid particle would be excluded when its density goes out of scope defined by
RhopOutMin and RhopOutMax. So besides this condition,is there any other conditions that a fluid particle would be excluded?

Best regards.

  • Yes, when the fluid particle moves to a position out of the limits of the domain...
