Relationship between phase and frequency in wavemaker
Hi,
I am still new to DualSPHysics and I am trying to run example case of 2D wavemaker. There is a section where I need to define the frequency in x direction, amplitude and wave.
objreal ref="10"
begin mov="1" start="0" finish="200"
mvrectsinu id="1" duration="10"
freq x="4.179721" y="0" z="0"
ampl x="0.05" y="0" z="0"
phase x="4.71238898" y="0" z="0"
From my understanding, frequency we used here is in Hz but my question is how to determine the value of the phase. When I calculate the phase value using delta t and frequency, I didnt get same value for the phase used in the example.
Hope anyone can give comment on this.
thank you.
