Imposing special boundary condition so the waves do not reflect

Hi all,
i would like to know, is there a way to impose special boundary conditions so the waves do not reflect of the domain?

In this video we have used solid lateral walls, there is no pasive absorption or a buffer zone. However that is implemented on our internal version and it is not so difficult to code.

To be honest, we have no idea when that stuff will be released or if it will be. It depends on projects, agreements, publications... Sorry.
