Units

Hello,
Could you please share the units used in DualSPHysics? If i use, say, 20x20 in Case_Def.xml with a Dp of 0.2 are they in any units or only relative to each other saying, if i multiply everything by 100, will they still mean the same thing? Thanks

    Obviusly all units used in DSPH are units in the international system

    Please note that in DualSPHysics v3.1 the unit for tha angular velocity ("vel ang" in the GenCase input file) is degrees/s and not rad/s (so no SI unit).

    Yes, but this is a magnitude that we have defined as input in GenCase using degrees/s. We will modify this.
    However concerning the question, all magnitudes computed in DualSPHysics (mass, position, velocity, acceleration, density and pressure) are in SI UNITS !!!
