Vartical axis turbine - Hinge with imposed rotational speed
Hello everyone,
I am working on a drag - type turbine. I have the blades of the turbine that are linked with hinge to the central axis. The blades follow the rotation of the central axis but are in "flag" mode. The gif below illustrates my words but here, only with one blade.
To model this turbine with DsP, I declare the central axis and the blade as floatings and I create a hinge link between the axis and the blade. The center of rotation of the hinge is at the top of the blade. I then impose the rotational speed of the axis and the latter should lead the blade.
The problem is that the blade doesn't follow the rotational speed of the central axis... Thus, for example, when the axis achieves one turn, the blade only achieved 2/3 of a turn.
So, someone has an idea from where could come the problem?
