Problems about intlet/outlet settings in three-dimensional open channel
Hello, I am doing a project about 3D cylinder flow problem in an open channel. I use the xml file in /examples/intletoutlet/01_Flowcylinder and 02_Openchannel and changed the domain into 3D.
The problem is that when I simulate an open channel without a cylinder, the results seems weird. Some particles at the outlet buffer jump and are excluded. The boudary condition is mDBC and viscosity value is 1E-6. Inlet velocity is fixed and outlet velocity mode is extrapolated value. Other variable setting is in my xml_Def file.
Some articles related to open channel choose inlet/outlet condition and both inlet and outlet velocities are constant. I wonder whether the outlet buffer zone may influence the inside fluid computation.
