Gridsize gencase

Hello everyone!

When I run gencase, I get the following error message:

"The grid size for creating points is too large. The Dp should be increased or a smaller domain should be used."

Apparently there is a hard coded limit of domain points that gencase can generate.

What is this limit for and is there a way to increase/avoid this limit?

Please check the required memory of your configuration (dp & domain) since perhaps that is a meaningless amount

I get this error, if i try to generate more than ~21 300 000 000 domain points. This should take up ~20Gb of RAM.

I have 64GB main memory and 24GB of GPU memory available, so that should not be the problem.

I also tried it with increased dp (in a bigger domain), which results in the same error when I reach the limit of 21 300 000 000 domain points.
