Merging "ReStart" parts

Since you can't really put the ReStart parts (using partbegin) in the same directory as the initial simulation parts (as far as i know, if there's really a way please explain it). So, i have some questions on this:

  1. How to properly merge the "ReStart" parts with the initial simulation parts?
  2. Does copying the parts to the initial simulation directory is the correct way?
  3. How about the IBI4 and OBI4 (partinfo, parthead, partout, etc) file effecting the result of the simulation later on the post-processing? If yes, which IBI4 and OBI4 file should we maintain for running the post-processing simulation
