How to simulate a large number of floating or solid objects?

Hi all,

I want to simulate 20000 small solid particles in a fluid system.

I see the form https://dual.sphysics.org/faq/#Q_32, they said if you want to simulate up to 2000 boundary or floating objects you have to use GenCase.exe and if you want to simulate more than 2000 and up to 65000 then you have to use GenCase_Mk_Word.exe and DualSPHysics compiled with an special option (activate or comment the code line #define CODE_SIZE4 in Types.h).

How can I use DualSPHysics compiled with an special option (activate or comment the code line #define CODE_SIZE4 in Types.h). I just find the TypesDef.h files, and I am not sure about where to comments #define CODE_SIZE4 .

Is anyone know how to increase the maximum number of floatings?

  • @Alex

I tried to use enCase_Mk_Word.exe  on DualSphysics, and when the particle number is 1000+, the results are good. Now I want to increase the number of solid bodies to 10000-20000, what should I do on special coding?

Wish you have a good day!

    Best regards,

    Xue
