When gravity is 0, can "DensityDT = 3" be used?

I want to know if I can use "DensityDT = 3" in the case of "gravity=0"?

  • yes, but I think there is no difference between ddt=1 &3 without gravity

  • I agree with @Myiced that the two formulations collapse to one another. So you could probably use it, but you wouldn't see a difference in results (because the hydrostatic component of the densities effectively becomes zero).
