Issue relating to AWAS

Hello all,

I am trying to simulate an oscillating water column WEC, and everything works fine until I turn on AWAS.

When I activate AWAS, the piston undergoes large oscillations and moves from the left end of the tank to the right end without stopping (normally it should lightly oscillate around its initial position).

I would appreciate it if someone could point out to me what I may be doing wrong. I suspect it could be due to incompatible AWAS parameters, so it would be good if you explain those as well.

    You have to define values to GaugeX, GaugeY, GaugeZ, Gaugedp, Coef. mass limit, etc...

    Please follow examples in DualSPHysics_v5.0\examples\main\10_WavesPistonAWAS

    And read info at DualSPHysics_v5.0\doc\guides\XML_GUIDE_v5.0.pdf (page 109)
