Chrono：problems on runtime
hello everyone,
I am running a case with around 1000 DEM particles（diameter of the sphere=1cm. dp=0.02cm,simulate time: 1s) I know chrono is much more robust but it takes a lot time(about two day). The runtime seems a little unreasonable. I wonder is there any way to speed up?
I changed the distancedp from 0.5 to 0.1. But it did't reduce the runtime. Is there any tricks I can use?

Chrono is bottlenecked due to a CPU- single core implementation. The only way to (currently) speed up Chrono is to use a faster CPU (higher clock speed)

Thanks, but in website of Chrono, it says chrono has GPU module. Is there any way to use that module in DualSPHYsics?
Chrono works with geometries and faces to detect collisions, therefore there is no information about "dp" in Chrono solver. This explains why there is no speed up in Chrono execution if you change "dp".
On the other hand, collisions are solved in Chrono using single-core CPU

Chrono has a GPU implementation but is mainly developed to solve granular dynamics and not for rigid-rigid interactions using shapes as we are integrating in DualSPHysics
