irregular wave generation

Hi all,

I find the term of spectral density in the book of Goda 2000.

Is it the same thing vs power spectral density or they are different ?

You find a capture screen of the book.

Can anyone help me how I can extract the wave height H [m] from the spectral density S(f) [m²s] in order to generate an irregular wave.
