Monitoring a region

Dear developers,

Is it possible to define a fixed region of the free surface to analyse the velocity field in DualSPHysics software? I believe that it could be a routine to generate the history of particles that crossed the fixed area during the simulation with storage of their velocities.

To check if flowtool is available go to DualSPHysics_v5.0\bin\ and look. It should be there
There is a help folder which gives small examples on how to use the different options. Also have a look through all examples to see where the tool is used, to get a better understanding. Will take some time to understand.
