Issue with Outlet - wave Generation

Hi,

I have been following this paper (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0010465519300463) and after modifying the source code to implement the velocity correction, I have been able to reproduce the standing wave with an inlet.

But whenever, I try to implement the same with an outlet as well, there is a huge amount of water rushing in from the outlet. I am not sure why that is being caused. I have attached the video of the simulation (https://megafile.cc/d/YKAY/inletoutlet-1)

Could you help me understand why that is happening and how to resolve it?
