Large scale simulation problems

Hi!

I am ultimately trying to simulate (in 2D) the ice cover of an ocean basin. Therefore, I increased dp = 500 meters, after which almost nothing happens.

I tried increasing the time step, but couldn't quite manage to understand all of the variables relevant to that. Anyway, I tried to set DtIni, DtMin and DtFixed to 360.0 or 36.0 (seconds), but this is clearly not the only thing I need to change.

Any thoughts on the necessary changes to the *Def.xml to run a large-scale simulation?
