Particles do not sink - two fluid simulation

Hi forum,

I am trying to simulate a phase separation of two different fluids with different densities. The problem is that not all particles with higher density sink to the bottom. There are some particles that stay at the top. I already try a better resolution and longer duration, both doesnt bring the hoped solution

does anyone has an advice or a solution?
