Interaction between floating and bottom using DEM
Hello.
When I simulate the free falling of a floating, I find that when the floating reach the bottom it just go througn the bottom as if there is no bound particles. I am prettty confused about that because in the XML_GUIDE it is suggested to use DEM to the interaction between floating and bottom. Also, in the example case, the DEM is successful to solve the interaction between floating and bottom. But in my simulation, the DEM method is failed to solve the interaction between floating and bottom, why?

Try sharing your simulation file, since it is very hard to get an idea of what goes wrong other wise.

I had a look at it @wangjiahan123456 but couldn't figure out why that would happen. Try increasing particle resolution, is a typical tip, maybe that helps. Maybe lower coefh as well.
