Surface tension for a single phase

Dear all,

Due to the nature of my case, it is costly to define a large domain box filled with air, is it possible that i only apply surface tension on the water phase?

I am trying to simulate rain droplets sliding down along the surface of the trunk door when the door is opened. Due to the small dp and large domain of my case, performing a two-phase simulation that contains both air and fluid particles may be too costly. so i am wondering if there is anyway to impose the surface tension on the droplet only? Thx)
