Smoothing Length, Narrowest Dimension and Minimum inter
I remember having read somewhere that the fluid particles are initiated at a distance h (smoothing length of the kernel) from the boundary particles. (Do correct me, if I am wrong). If that is the case, in certain pipe flow cases , which are inevitably part of certain Casting problems, how is the flow affected, when the modified fluid domain (as shown in the picture) has a dimension lesser than dp (minimum interparticle distance).
Also, what is the minimum number of particles which are required to flow through a domain, to be able to generate a surface vtk. ?
Thank You
