Optimum number of particles

am working on a lateral spillway model, how many particles are needed to represent the height of water correctly?

Hi

I would recommend around 5-10 particles to define a feature/structure of the domain.

That of course will depend on your flow characteristics, i.e. you can not have single particles flowing over the spill way, you need a few more...
