DesignSPHysics - post-processing options (separate by MKbound value)

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to export individual components of the 'fixed' object types using the PartVTK tool or alternatively filter in Paraview to achieve the same result?

For instance, I would like to view the 'obstacle' in the dam break case without viewing the side and end walls of the tank. I can give them separate MKBound values but can't seem to isolate based on that when exporting.

Apologies if this is a stupid question!

    @Alex , can you elaborate on this if you have a chance? Do you choose in the DesignSPHysics window or is it done in Paraview? Whereabouts? Thank you!

    Hi Dave

    Export each geometry individually using "shapeout", you have to play with it a bit, and looking through the examples folders and the xmls, ("CASE"_Def.xml") or you can play with opacity filter in Paraview;

    Remember you can move and change colors like highlighted in yellow.

    You can also use the filter "threshold" in Paraview choosing by mk
