hswl/speedsystem auto value

Hi, i need to include hswl value on my paper. hence, what is/how to calculate hswl value when you use auto=true parameter?
i understand that hswl affects speedsystem by sqrt(hswl*g). What is speedsystem value when auto/dam-break prop is used?

    You can find some information in the XML_v4.0_GUIDE.pdf
    "hswl" can be automatically computed according to your initial water columns.
    Speedsystem by default is SQRT(hswl*g)

    so hswl is my initial water depth then?

    yes, and it is the maximum of all the different water volumes
